I would like to know why this has the chain I understand it to be potmetal,I have found bracelets but no chain.

Any information would be appreciated thank you

Safety chains are prevailent in bracelets.

Thank you Phil I understand that chains on a bracelet are for safety,but this chain is 3 times longer than the bracelet and it goes around my waist nearly.
