20 years ago I lent a guy $25 and he gave me a bunch of baseball and football cards, 2 empty metal collector tin boxes and an unopened pack of Victory baseball cards. I have never seen the guy since so I just got these down off the closet shelf. There are over 1100 cards that date from late 1980's to 1990's. Sports cards don't interest me at all, just not my thing. Question is two things. #1 Are cards this age collectable and #2 Did I get burned lending him $25? Almost 800 are baseball and the remainder are football cards.
No matter good or bad I will appreciate feedback. I thought I would get my money back but that didn't happen. Live and learn.
not sure about the football cards, but if you happen to have a star player`s rookie card in the baseball cards you could possibly get your money back and maybe more. They flooded the market in the 80`s, so the rarity went to- H E double toothpicks.
