This is missing the back pin for the Brooch. The brooch is 4” wide. Pre 1955.
I wonder if it is worth getting repaired.

Thank you. That decides it for me! I also realized it is missing 2 stones near the lowest part of the center. They are very hard to see, but I'm not worried about those so much.
I am researching jewelry that my late mother in law collected, so now I am impressed.
What a fabulous perfect Trifari snowflake, your photography is excellent too
