Hi friends, I would be grateful is someone has any additional info on this old japanese ukyio-e print - especially if you can translate who is the author.
The name in Japanese: I cannot add it here as this website does not take these signs... it is featured on the below link next to "Description" (the name is also written in Old Chinese next to "Author", but according to my Chinese colleague it does not make any sense in Chinese and it is someone from Japan).

I found out previously that:
On the picture there is Negishi racehorse, the same picture can be found on the below link:

As for the writing on the picture, it means when directly translated that "yokohama has many people coming to its shores. They will be riding on their horses in exchange for miles around the city".
The small words meant that this print is sponsored and "tokyo literary thatched cottage"(maruya)
Update: Kind people on Facebook helped with the identification of the artist: Ikkousai / Nagabayashi or Eirin /
Eiko Ichikosai (Eikousai Eirin, unknown birth date) is an Ukiyoe painter of the Meiji period.

It is said that Kobayashi Erin is an instructor and his real name is Nobunaga Nagabayashi. There are only 11 known Nishiki-e published in 1872, and the details are unknown. These were all Yokohama pictures.
