Me in the Xmas party at the dhss office in Edgbaston Birmingham, then aged 32. I was playing a drunken claimant who had not received any sickness benefit for Xmas. I was demanding to see the manager named Jim King. I was saying ' is your king in today'. Photos taken by John Cunliffe who did wedding photography at weekends. December 1979 photos.

The office opened in 1977 and closed in 2007. It was transferred to Birmingham City centre. I worked there from 1977 to 1989 as a stationery officer supplied forms and office stationery to different departments in office.
