4711 MIGNON Lavender Salts Minature Bottle with Case
This little case and bottle of salts is a vintage find. The leather case appears dried and has a tough feel to it. It shows age for sure. Has snap closure. he original cap, salts and labels WOW.

Photo 2 is blurry but I can see the active ingredient is spirit ammonia....so is this smelling salts, used to revive someone who faints?
The carrying case would make it easy for a gentleman to carry in his jacket pocket for those occasions when a lady might swoon.
Just a whiff of ammonia is all it takes to ‘revive’ the fainted one - the smell is so awful, maybe they incorporated lavender to seem more gentle or delicate for ladies.
Have you opened the bottle for a sniff?

I did smell the contents and yes it is ammonia, definitely ! Whew.
I did not smell any lavender at all, must dissipate quickly.
It would revive the faintest of ladies, or gents in my opinion.
