I don't have any info on this pendant except that it was in my Great Grandmother's jewelry box and it looks like it could be mother of pearl. Any info would be welcome, thank you!

It is a patriotic WWI brooch Hands Across the Sea.It refers to USA /Britain alliance even before America officially entered the Great War.Also seen in silk postcards issued to navy.

E.g. here:Postcard WW1 Embroidered Silk - Hands Across the Sea - SS Republic
Can be found in combination with flags of other overseas countries.
