I found this arrowhead in 1964 when I was 10 years old. In Oklahoma. Since that time I have found tens of thousands of arrowheads and other artifacts throughout the Ozarks

What a neat thing to keep and remember! I found one when I was a young boy and I insisted that grandpa paint the tip red. He almost refused but complied with my request anyway and while the red paint was drying, the wind blew it off a shelf and it broke. I learned to listen to grandpa. I'm glad that your first arrow head survived and thanks for sharing the story. Everyone loves arrowheads, I think.
