      Not a throne and I would call it a Victorian style Chair with Savonarola arms. Its beautiful and a nice chair to find, possibly around 1900 or 1910 but difficult to date without looking at the chair.

      I once owned a fully Savonarola style period chair which had the crossed legs also. In that case they do look more royal !~
