Would you please be able to advise as to date of this piece and can you tell by the cross on the crown, what type of church it may have come out of? Thanking you in advance.

I think you would be better off asking what religion rather than what church. It may well have never been in a church. Many people have stained glass pieces like this with a religious icon of some type hanging in their homes. Most places sell it as Religious Wall Art.
