I purchased a wooden crate filled with glass photo negatives at a rummage sale in Princeton WI. Ranging from family photos, farmers and there equipment, tractors, horse/cattle, Post Mortem, etc. My favorite is a single negative with a excellent shot of an 1906 Ford Model-K I believe it to be. But for now my question surrounds this still in particular of what appears to be a pair of nudes laying in the grass. I’ve inverted the photo to show what now looks like a photo of a painting almost. It doesn’t look particularly lifelike. But I don’t know. Any info would be appreciated.

The scene is from 1870 Milton's Paradise Lost Original Antique Gustave Dore.
Not saying that's what you have..but that's what the picture looks like..
Great solve davn2no1 ! Looks like someone took a photo of the original . Apparently they loved it and wanted to make it into a photo to hang on their wall ? Nice find !

So what happened to your Picasso?
@dav2no1 , I removed it from the frame to look for an edition number or paper watermark, but there wasn’t. I believe it was a page removed from his human comedy lithograph book, I don’t know about the signature. I don’t believe Picasso would have signed it. It would be $300 to get the signature authenticated.
