Chinese Person from West Germany

This piece reminds me of Chinese Dehua or blanc de chine. It's a wonderful little figurine of a very racist portrayal of an Asian boy. Very submissive to those enormous early 20th c european egos. i'm sure it was effective sometimes. but it's such a cool piece! found at a junk store today for $2.
