2015 United States Marshals 225th Anniversary Coin

    Material: Silver
    Mint: Philadelphia
    Product Type: Single Products
Commemorative Series: U.S. Marshals Service 225th Anniversary (2015)
    Year: 2015

I normally don't buy stuff like this. At the time I was buying ounces of silver and these coins appealed to me. I see the prices are climbing on these, regardless still a fun piece.

Congress directed the Mint to create:
    100,000 $5 gold coins
    500,000 $1 silver coins
    750,000 half-dollar clad coins

    US MARSHALS
"The office of United States Marshal was created by the First Congress. President George Washington signed the Judiciary Act into law on September 24, 1789. The Act provided that a United States Marshal's primary function was to execute all lawful warrants issued to him under the authority of the United States."

Rolls of nickels are not a bad way to go for bullion value, 25% nickel and 75% copper and there is no question if it is real or assays out to the correct amount and type of metals. And, if you can always just spend them or change them at a bank.

Like I said, I normally just buy silver rounds. I don't understand why Eagles cost more, but sell back at same price. Silver is silver if it's for investment.

I also have a bunch of mostly silver rounds that those robbers at bradford exchange sold my mom. She had no idea, just sent them checks. I tried to make them take them back, but they suck! We had to get a lawyer involved to make them take back some train they sent her. Didn't even have her name correct. They said they wouldn't talk to us because we were not michael....mom's name was mishal.

They were not supposed to send anything to the house. But they did and suckered her out of a bunch of money. Terrible company..they don't care, all about making a few dollars.
