    I recently came across this folding knife and I am unable to determine its maker. Actually, cannot locate another on the internet that looks like it. I suspect it's of German origin early to mid 20th century. If anyone can help identify it, please provide the information you may have.

      Is the lever part of the lock mechanism?

      Yes. The lever causes the blade to lock in the open position. To unlock the blade, it is pressed forward to the blade to close it.

      Typically the makers mark is on the base of the blade.

      Agreed, but there is no marking on this one.
