I was told this was picked up by the old train station, I thought it be a cover for a light. It's heavy, sort of greenish color, it has 2 ridges on the top inside, I think for screwing it into a holder. I know nothing else, person who found it isn't around anymore.

TallCakes, ty so much, I couldn't figure out how to describe it, so I didn't find anything, but yes, it looks to be probably an insulator as the person describe, this was found by the railroad station which is closed down and the person isn't around anymore, so can't ask any other details, but yes I thought maybe some type of insulator, but it didn't come up with any insulator I could find, maybe it's from an older telephone pole, again ty so much

Deaton1, Aloha! I read on your profile that you lived on Oahu in the 60s.....I lived there in the 90s. Those were very special years! Mahalo for the jolt of special memories!

I too would guess 'insulator', though I too haven't ever seen one like it -- that certainly doesn't mean they don't exist?!! :-) GREAT FIND!! :-) :-)
