Hello my fellow collectors, could I please trouble you for some advice, could I ask your opinion on the piece I have posted just now, I’m stumped, I don’t know if it’s Chinese , Japanese or something else, Does anyone recognise the back mark to the base? I would be very grateful if you could advise
    Thank you in anticipation

The circular Mark with the cross within gives it away as Satsuma.

Check out this site and look for the mark on your vases. Enjoy. Nice pair.

talk some bs , i got an far fetched educated assumption

the peeled off an yoshiyama mark, and the reason why it is so naked , this might be Showa period

i am just guessing , but i think this is the most likely assumption

      maybe this will help

Kichizan ?? - Gilt script in black lozenge under the Shimazu crest. The name can also be read as Yoshiyama. Taisho period
