Degenhart purple slag glass shoe

Degenhart glass was bought by Mr. Boyd in 1978. Boyd continued to use many of the same glass molds as had been used by Degenhart. This shoe dates to when Mr. Degenhart was still alive. After his death his wife added the heart D logo to the inside of the shoes which this example does not have. Mr. Boyd was Degenhart's glass mixer prior to buying the company.
