I have broken my grand mothers plate and she is furious. Can anyone tell me anything about this plate?

It's for 2 other plates in the 'Ancient Legends of Greece' series. The seller says of them, "Two beautiful bone china plates from the Royal Worcester 'Legends of Ancient Greece' Collection for Compton & Woodhouse, with a finely detailed gilded mosaic style design. The plates depict 'Narcissus & Echo' and the 'judgment of Paris'. Measures 21cm / 8.25 inches across, dated 1993 and in very good condition with no chips, cracks or significant wear."

So I would guess your grandmother's plate probably also dates from 1993 or thereabouts. Vintage but not antique. If you're looking for a replacement, you could register with the various china replacement services in case one comes along... or just keep an eye on eBay, Etsy, etc.

Thanks for that advice, I saw those plates on ebay and did enquire as to where it was obtained. Still looking for that one plate.
