small MCM side table by LANE

This one really could use a good refinishing, but is otherwise still intact and remains sturdy. Made by LANE, their logo and the table's style and serial number are on its underside. (pic 3) Four tapered legs with metal feet and stretchers near the tabletop, which has a "dovetailed" pattern to the edges. The wood looks like it has mahogany grain, though it doesn't have a 'reddish' tint like mahogany often does, so maybe it is something else instead.

I am guessing at its mid-century-modern era, but that stands to reason with what (little) I think I know about its origin and past owners.
