Just interested in perhaps figuring out a date for this toolbox which may have been handmade with blacksmith' s help.

I would just like to ascertain the age of this toolbox, whether it could have been handmade and who (what specific trade) might have used it. I love the handy leather handle on one end. Therefore, the box could be carried vertically as well as horizontally.
Thank you in advance for any opinion someone may have on this.
