      You'd be correct on the 70's-80's vintage of this AND you have the (modern) BIC lighter oriented in it correctly as well?!! <applause> BIC lighter cases are still available of course, but only the older ones have the little 'notch' at the front edge like shown here -- most people today would think its for the red button, but it was actually intended for a "thumbwheel" flame control that BIC lighters *used* to have, located immediately under the fire -- a feature that's been eliminated from them for decades now. GOOD WORK!! :-) :-) :-)
