I bought this at a flea market in Zurich and have found one other figurine like this for sale online
an antique dealer in Hamburg claims it is from France, early 1900s and has attached a healthy four figure price tag to it
not really certain if it would be considered Art Nouveau or Art Deco or ???
Very cool..
Now, that kind of cat I can tolerate !!
sort of surprised that this piece is a Japanese antique, I found a reliable attribution ;-)
