Recently inherited this, trying to figure out Maker if anyone recognizes it (I don’t see a name anywhere).
Unfortunately I don’t have the key, anyone know what type of lock it is so I can try to find a replacement lock or the name of the key I need to search for?
This is my favorite trunk ever, lots of great details.

Welcome to CW. Im not a trunk expert, but...Are you ready..its called a trunk lock! Technically you would call it a hasp plate lock? Yours looks similar to the Eagle company?

Wonderful packing trunk!! If you want to acquire a key, look on the backside of the lock hasp and there should be a number engraved. Go online and look for a barrel key with the that particular number.
