A recent acquisition... This large redware pot measures over 10 in tall. I have some familiarity with Cole Pottery of North Carolina and suspect this unmarked pot is from Cole .. I hope some viewer with more expertise might be able to confirm my suspicion and perhaps even identify which of the Coles might have made this pot. One feature that I found unusual and especially appealing is the incised marks which I've tried to show in the photos. Although there is no makers. Mark, there is an old price written on the bottom.
