Yes, I know that it's been a while, but all this Rain and Wind that we've been getting in California, has cut down on the Flea Market time! :^D Today and Yesterday, were beautiful Spring Days and Filled the Market with both Sellers and Buyers!
This Majolica Crab Plate, one of my buys Today March 26th, 2023, is probably made in Portugal, in the 1940's, not late 18oo's like I hoped, but still a great find! It's a 10" diameter, Wall Plaque, and has a hair line crack, but it can't be seen from the front side! The Portuguese Spider Crab, looks as if it's on the Ocean floor, and the colors are still bright! :^D

the truth is that it looks older by the craftsmanship of the whole plate.... beautiful colors looks like a Palissy
Love Majolica especially the nature inspired pieces. Very cool !
