Found this unframed beautiful watercolor in my wife's late mother's closet. No signature? Families from Maine. And it's a coastal painting. Sailing ship in the background. Had artists in the family. Wife's mother loved to do Tole painting, and other stuff.
Measure's 4 1/2 by 12. In the future I'll put up some other paintings done by family. Her mother put names on other paintings but nothing on this one. Anyone know who might have painted it? I believe I solved it. See my other Post. Also looks like Coastal Surry Maine where Annie Hardy lived. My wife as a kid would visit with her mother and brother and play with sword's and funny feathered hats that was in a trunk in the barn.
