Dav I believe is onto the use of point to weld to filter attachment to drive a shallow well point for pump house. In my youth my buddy and I had to updrive the old 2" pipe that Crawford used to fire his 22 pistol down the pipe to clear the filter that didn't work any more hence my buddy and I had to
Put the heavy collar with handle on each side around pipe pound it up section by section til it came out!!! BOY!! it was a lot easier driving the new point down!!! The many beers Crawford gave us kept us going!!!
