This is my latest radio that I have restored. Last winter I restored the chassis and did find that the radio has the original visa glow eye tube which was only made in 1934. This tube works where as many of these don't. The radio plays very good after I replaced all the capacitors,and cleaned the controls.
The cabinet just got better and better as I was stripping it, and it turned out very nice.
These Canadian radio always have very nice wood veneers..
with original grill cloth and all but one original knob, it is a sharp looking radio
The model of the radio is 581.
