I have done some research on this and really couldn't find anything for a long time that could give me any information on this inkwell. Then I happened across a picture of a brass figure that looks identical but not an inkwell and mine is silver in color but that is where I found the year about and the Gruber name. Then that led me to another Pic on this site. So here I am sharing my very rare and unique woman writing inkwell.
