    I picked up this huge old sofa for free! Pinkish velvet upholstery ( intact!). Veneer on the sides and back, slightly chipped. The front wide posts appear to be solid wood … curious about approximate age, and what style it is considered.

      Phil, l literally do not know how to re position them! I took them at normal angles, but this is how they posted. Sorry, I’m somewhat technologically backwards

      I could reposition them for you which is not hard to do - if you look on line there are plenty of free rotate photo sites. Try one of them, it helps peoples necks a lot, mine gets pain when I try to turn my head around. The couch is an american 2nd Empire period piece which they made from around 1873 or so till early 1900's.
