Hello everyone!!
Here's a very whimsical statue of a monkey jockey riding a frog. I thought this was such a comical little piece. The base is pottery ceramic, but I believe the figure itself could be resin. In research, I found only one that is listed as Majolica pottery. However, I'm in sincere doubt that this is Majolica pottery. I'm unable to locate a signature or makers mark on this anywhere. So, I have no idea as to when or where this piece was made. But I really love this piece, so it doesn't matter much to me. It measures 9 1/2" tall and the base is 7" long.
