Another Victorian Era English Made Leather Covered Match Vesta

Hello everyone!!
As I own only three of these one of these leather covered match vestas, this would be the last one of them. Again, not quite as fancy as the first one I posted, but still a nice example of the Victorian era craftsmanship. As with my previous post, it's not marked with the W. Leuchars hallmark, but I do believe this too was made by W. Leuchars, in England, sometime during the mid to late 19th century. It too is missing the small match container, but otherwise in nice condition. As with my others, once the button is depressed on the side, the spring loaded top pops open to reveal the striker plate. As you can see, under the striker plate would have been a small match container. This one measures 2 1/8" long and 1 3/4" tall.

W. Leuchars was a London-based company that made dressing cases. The company was founded in 1794 by James Leuchars and was later run by his widow, Lucy, and their son, William.
