Apologies for the image orientation. They are correct on my iphone and on my laptop, but when I upload them here they appear sideways.

I found this at a thrift store in Maryland in March 2025.

ChatGPT says this is late 1890s, or early 1900s "tavern ware," possibly for a drinking club or society.

The wolf/dog spout would have been used to drink from directly, like a straw. The domed top prevented spillage as the drinker tipped the vessel toward his face.

There seems to be a faun or satyr (or demon) mask under the clock, which shows 15 minutes to midnight (witching hour)?
It's marked G. Weissenburger, Nancy on the bottom.
The chip on the wolf spout is fairly superficial affecting mostly the glaze. I'd love to see this repaired.

Does anyone know anything about these kinds of drinking items?
Is this an unusual example? Can anyone point me toward other examples or materials where I can learn more?
