This small pottery bowl is just over 3" in diameter and about 2.75" high. Signed "Ebby Malmgren" on the bottom. A BIG thanks to basdgl for correcting my misinterpretation of the signature (I got the "Mal" right!). I checked CW while lazing in bed and had to get up and move this bowl to a safer place where my cat would not "play" it off the table it was on.
I decided to start with the cheapest pot on ebay and surf until I found something interesting. This search did not last long as this was the second cheapest pot. Not seen anything like it before, interesting design and glaze. I bought it from a seller in Belen, NM. The Malmgrens had a second home and studio in Taos.
There is a lot of information about this potter online. Surprisingly, she is not listed on the Pottery Marks Project web site.
Good deal Kevin, very nice foldover design
