These were sold from 1959 to 1963 as a screw together kit. It is based on a model 1860 Colt Army revolver supposedly. But it appears to be a conversion from a percussion pistol to the semi-modern ammunition. Clint Eastwood used a similiar firearm in Pale Rider. I am not sure Hubley was making a historical reproduction, got a mix of this and mix of that. But as for as toy guns this one is valuable. It is full size with 8" barrel and simulated bullets is the cylinder.
I listed this as a cap gun although I don't think it fired caps.
