Baby Picture

His friends called him Jim. We called him dad. My mom said dad posed on a bale of hay, (it must have been covered with a blanket because he looks pretty happy.) After a while this picture went into storage and didn't come out until now
The glass is domed, and the frame has a paper mâché type covering that my mom could have done. The contact paper backing is definitely mom's work, (she covered everything with contact paper!) There's a water stain or something sweeping across the right-side including dad's foot.
I think it's a colorized photograph, (tintype?) but I really don't know
(23" wide 17" tall including frame)
