This is one of my favorite knives. Humason & Beckley were in business from 1852 to 1916 in New Britain, Conn., so well over 100 yrs. old. It has great snap when closing, tight at the half stop and has a small wiggle when fully open. On research I found that some of their knives had what they call a swayback ( curved spine) as this one does, it also has a brass butt plate. It is 4 3/4" long when closed and 8" when open. Thanks for lookin!! Rob
