The 9” Sawyer Tool Mfg. Co. (1894-1915) hook rule. Sawyer moved manufacturing from Athol to Fitchburg, Mass. in 1898, and to Ashburnham, Mass. in 1912. They changed their name to Almond Mfg. Co. in 1915. This rule has 8ths and 64ths graduations on the face side, and 16ths and 32nds on the back. Still if very good, readable condition, with the original owner at some point replacing the screw/stud holding the hook to the rule. Love the old font for the numbering.
