Looking for info
Bought a bunch of military medals from an estate of a collector - he had well over a 100 medals - mostly US but also some German, English, Indian & Pakistani ones
and this item - It says 1943 on one point and Tunis on another point - it looks more like a badge then a medal but I can't find anything online that is even close to this
Any info would be appreciated
Ok from another collectors group the best info I can come up with is that it's a Commerative badge celebrating the end of the Africa Campaign- which was marked by the surrender of the Axis powers on May 13th 1943 in Tunisia hence the 1943 and Tunis on 2 of the points plus the other 3 pointing the English flag, the American flag and the Free French Symbol( The Lorraine Cross)
