I usually take these later figures out of the box but I think I will leave this one in the box. It is a well-made display. It depicts an early WWII US sailor with the WWI style helmet. Apparently, he is attempting to take on airplanes with a revolver. He is also holding a blackened life ring from the Arizona. Finally there is a miniature replica of the December 22 1941 edition of Life Magazine.
Finally according to the box top the figure has socks.

I really like that and all the detail and I think you are right to keep it in its box. Already looks like it is set as a display piece as it is.
