1893 Waterbury "Belva" Black Ornamented Enameled Metal clock

This clock was to be parted out to be used for parts that are no longer available. Oh a whim I decided to play with it. I took it apart and found that it had leather washers where the movement attached to the case. The washers disintegrated in my hands as I took the out. On anther whim, I was in a whimsy mood, I replaced the leather washers with black plumbing washers, put it back together, wound it, and gave the pendulum a shove and off it took, I am keeping it now.
