miniature grain cleaner/separator

This is a miniature grain separator that was built by a very talented model maker It stands about 10" long, 6" wide and 7" tall. It is all wooden construction except for the metal screens.
Full sized grain cleaner separators were used to clean the harvested grain from the chafe and sticks that was collected with the valuable seed or grain.
The seeds were blown free of this trash and winnowed to separated the clean crop for bagging.
