Hello everyone!!
Another of my equestrian themed inkwells if this steeplechase inkwell. The ink bottles are glass, possibly crystal, and are very similar to Baccarat ink bottles. But I'm no glass expert by any means, so perhaps one of you might determine that for me. With the exception of the ink bottles, the remainder of this piece is brass. The previous owner attempted to polish this piece, but there was a tremendous amount of brass cleaner residue in every crevice of this piece. I was able to remove the residue and polish this piece properly. The ink bottles do have a few chips here and there, but all in all its in pretty good condition for it's age.
