Hello everyone!
Another item that’s a bit out of my collecting genre. This one is a silver plated vanity mirror depicting “Cupid Tickling The Nose Of The Man In The Moon” .
This one was made sometime during the 1890’s by Rogers Silver Plate Co,., Danbury, CT. I’m in doubt that this is the original mirror, but since this is not my area of expertise, it very well could be.
I have a few of these in my collection with this one being the smallest of all. I’m not truly sure of the material it’s made of, but quite heavy. Probably spelter. It measures 8” wide and 9” top to bottom.
