Hi everyone!!
Packing away some items in preparation for Christmas decorations. So, before I pack this away I wanted to post it. This too is a late 1800’s silver plated “Man In The Moon” vanity mirror.
As I mentioned earlier, I have three of these and all three are different sizes. This one is signed Roger’s Silver Plate, Danbury, Conn. on the backside. This one was extremely difficult to clean and polish as the finish had severely tarnished to nearly coal black.
I do believe the beveled edge mirror is original to this piece. Though the mirror has several chips and scratches, it simply gives it character. This piece measures 9 1/4” wide and 10” top to bottom.
Thanks very much for taking time to stop in for a look!!
Scott

Beautiful as usual Scott, you're so lucky to have found three... awesome workmanship here, & your cleaning job is A1
Look great. I like how the feet of the mirror have been made part of the design
