I've had this jug for a while now, and no matter how I search, I can't figure out who made this.
Beside the number 2680 on the bottom also marked "UNIEK," which is a Dutch word, I suspect it was made in the Netherlands.
The colors don't reveal the period, but I'm guessing it was made after World War II.
Does anyone with the knowledge to identify a maker could shine some light on this?

well i am not an expert , so for starters i tried Mosa - royal society - FONS DECKER- WILLEM STUURMAN -VLIEUIT SOEST and the stray ZENITH ( so without signing)
tried to do elaborate searching, first impression was , BORING another STUURMAN DECLINE PERIOD after his fitty with his boss IN 1934
watch it for a long time, because art is always about perception also, well i just don,t know , well who am i to judge , i am slightly optimistic about the quality ,, so well done
no -velsen - no eskaf no goedewagen so the only way out = FRIGGO VISSER , curator museum GOEDEWAAGEN en een erg prettig mens

as far as i known there is a link , i used it on behalf of Vetreao, FRiggo, is extremely smart even from the USA they consult him and a very nice guy, i worked once with with him somewhere in a hillbilly place about 25 years ago,
i can,t give the link , because i am seldom at home most of the time i am in hospital or doing charity work for the epilepsy centers (collecting 2 euro coins SLOVENIE MIKI MUSTER, because some MF could , not deliver PORTUGAL COINS )

ik kan FRIGGO VISSER met geen mogelijkheid bereiken en tevens onze gezamelijke restaurateur Hanne Friederichs ook niet , dat is vreemd want voorr Vetreao heb ik hem ook gebruikt
ik ben geen kenner, dus maar wat aan zitten kloten , vervolgens dan maar laat AMSTERDAMSE SCHOOL uitgezocht , dat was het niet

Mijn inziens is dit denk ik spuitglazuur, en dat komt meestal terug in het depressie plateel , want dat is minder werk, zeg maar delen of alles sprayen en dat is ook goedkoper, en dat hoef je minder wat ze noemen INTEBAKKEN , dat wordt niet zo heet gestookt , maar beklijft makkelijker
ik denk ook dat het een deel van het modeverschijnsel is om perzisch brons snavelkannen te imiteren wat toen een rage was
de belletjes aan de bovenkant van de buik zou mogelijkwijs mijn leken assumptie kunnen staven
wat ik vervolgens gedaan heb zijn alle mods= modellen zenith doorgenomen met uitzondering van de de sepia mods want die zijn geprononceerder qua kleur
vervolgens alle nondescripte ZENITS doorgenomen, en die zijn er ook nog , maar dat gaf weinig indicatie
aanezien mijn presumptie was omstreeks 1934-1935, heb ik ook uitgezocht wat het pars pro toto tegen het algemeen veronderstelde volume Goude etc en qua style etc , leek mij dit het meest logische, want dat domineert namelijk qua aantal
hou er wel rekening mee ik ben zeker geen kenner
ik ga wel ff naar de Knnemer Oudheidskamer , die zitten in Velsen aardewerk en dat is het zeker niet, maar die hebben meer naslagwerken dan ik, dan kan echter wel een tijd duren want ik heb wat lichamlijke problemen ( understatment)

Ongelooflijk bedankt voor de vele tijd die u hier in wilt steken. Ik waardeer dat zeer. Ook ik kon geen contact krijgen met Friggo Visser. Jammer maar begrijpelijk. Een uur voor hem is ook gewoon 60 minuten.
Goed dat u aangeeft dat ik in de jaren 30 moet zoeken. De kans bestaat natuurlijk altijd dat dit kannetje gemaakt is bij een zeer klein lokaal werkplaatsje die slechts voor een korte periode in productie is geweest. Ik blijf zoeken.
Overigens vind ik het altijd knap dat u blijft komen met oplossingen op deze website terwijl er van de vele vragensteller nooit op gereageerd wordt. Hoeveel keren ik al over deze manier van handelen teleurgesteld ben is niet te tellen. Ik weet hoeveel uren u er in steekt en ik besteed daar nog maar een fractie van in het zoeken naar oplossingen. Hierdoor sta ik op het punt om ermee te stoppen nadat iemand mij hier laatst wegzetten als een sukkel terwijl ik hem slechts een link van een google zoekactie had gestuurd met honderden voorbeelden van waar hij naar op zoek was. Vele willen helemaal niet weten wat ze in huis hebben als blijkt dat de waarde toch tegenvalt. Maar goed dat is een heel andere discussie.
eigenlijk schaam ik mij een beetje voor mijn analyse omdat mijn verhaal inconsistent is , soms begrijp ik de artistieke oplossing van stukken ook niet , bijv waarvoor discongruentie , waarvoor overenameling etc waarvoor geschilderd outside in in plaats van inside out etc
ik ben niet het scherpstte mes in de lade,maar ik koop nooit mijn eigen taxaties, wat mij een hoop geld kost want hetis heel simpel om mensen te belazeren, en mijn inziens speel ik het clean , geeft altijd fouten toe soms zelfs na jaren als ik het zie
en garandeer mijn taxaties
gisteren had ik er zelfs etymologen in zitten van mijn voormalig team er in zitten en ze deleten alles !!!!! ., de crew vroeg mij waar doe je dit voor, HET IS GEWOON HEEL SIMPEL IK HOUD GEWOON VAN KUNST, en die pokertafel in de hemel verdien ik later wel hahaha
