Vintage wooden picture frame

This ornate wooden frame is stamped Casals Studio, which was a photography studio started by photographer Enrique Casals in Washington Heights in northern Manhattan after he fled the Cuban revolution. The shop closed in the 2000s. I’d appreciate any information about the frame itself since there are no manufacturer’s marks (the copy of Le Petit Echo de la Mode from December 1923 was found separately). It measures 18.5 x 21.5 x 1.5”.
