    This large bowl has the Sèvres France mark. Amazingly in daylight it is a deep pink colour but under fluorescent light it changes to bright green. A search has discovered Didymium glass, containing a mixture of Praseodymium and Neodymium giving it its dichroic properties. It probably dates from the 1960's-70's.

      Cool! I thought only looking at the pictures you had 2 in different coloured bowls.
      I know about Neodymium glass as I have posted a few so this is new to me!

      Thanks BHIFOS, I bought it online when it was shown as green, it caused some confusion when I unpacked it in natural light and it was pink. I can't remember seeing a reference to this type of glass anywhere, it is quite strange when moving it from one room to another and it changes colour according to the light source.
