As soon as I saw this American Cabinet Co. No. 16 milk glass dental instrument tray, I knew I would re-purpose it to sit on my desk and hold my pens (and whatever I’d want to place at the top, like paperclips, etc.). Takes up some real estate, sure, but I like it!
Width: 4”
Length: 8”
Weight: 1 lb, 4 oz
The back reads:
THE AMERICAN CABINET CO.
16
TWO RIVERS, WIS. U.S.A.
MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA
FOR SCALERS, EXPLORERS,
EXCAVATORS, CHISELS AND
CUTTING INSTRUMENTS
Vintage dental equipment offers a fascinating look at how the profession has evolved over time, and pieces like this tray highlight the craftsmanship of earlier generations. Anyone comparing historical tools with current treatment methods may also find https://newstardental.org/services/dental-implants/ helpful for learning how dental implants are performed today and what patients can expect. Seeing the contrast between past and present makes the progress in dentistry even more impressive.
