A Miniature Japanese Vase Done In Wrapped Around Colorful Design, Floral With Butterflies.
Top And Bottom Done With Gilded Gold Circular Trim I Believe.
Marked On Bottom.

Not Japanese but a Chinese porcelain miniature vase. The Qianlong mark on the bottom is mostly used in the Chinese Republic period.

actually .mp kunst did very well
don,t complicate things ( rotate the mark) and the rest is client service, only remember,e stacked cubes in the mark to make it qianlong, so we are all experts already
we got 2 types of scripts KAISHU and ZHUANSHU
this is kaishu script
what do we need ( grosso modo) 6 characters

so we are missing two characters namely the DA QING, so we go tan abbreviated marking, called QINGLANG NIAN ZHI ( made) it ought to be dated 1736-1795, the one is fake
so we are a bit in trouble, no sweat, we could escape bij means of an also precious revival piece dated late 19 century,
but this aint an apographical 4 character mark, because we need , differene colour, stroking ,baking flaws etc
well who am i late republic is a rather guess, personally i think its a bit later, air lapsus between the lines , probably the time bleeching is not to dominant, i think it is EARLY PROC PERIOD from 1949- on, but i am just guessing
design looks logical but it aint , so called peony butterfly design, the combining is strange the, peony is too dominating , versus the butterfly design , so IMO it is a fantasy piece
